Summer Break pt. 9 - Inspiring Scriptures

1 Peter 5:8 (AMP)

"Be sober [well-balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, fiercely hungry, seeking someone to devour."

Romans 8:31

"What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?"

Proverbs 3:5-8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones."

2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP)

"For we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]."

Exodus 16:4

"God said to Moses, 'I’m going to rain bread down from the skies for you. The people will go out and gather each day’s ration. I’m going to test them to see if they’ll live according to MY Teaching or not.'"

Remember:

Exodus 14:14
"The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest."

Reflection:

In Christ, you have the same power living in you that raised Jesus from the grave! How amazing is that, child of God!
